Family Reunion 2017On the first week of this month we made our annual trek to the hills of Southwestern PA to attend the annual “First Saturday in August Family Reunion”. We left on Thursday for Morgantown, WV to help Ross get his apartment ready for occupancy. Unfortunately, this turned out to be more problematic and time-consuming than planned. However, Pop-Pop and Dad did get to spend a few hours at Gene’s Beer Garden with Pop-Pop’s friend Pat. On Friday afternoon we headed to Uncle Brian’s house in PA for the “Brothers Reunion.” On Saturday, we went to the Family Reunion.
On the way home we stopped again in Morgantown to see if any progress had been made on resolving the apartment issues. It was still a “Work-in-Progress” when we departed. However, the majority of the issues were resolved within the next week or so. Ross stayed on in Morgantown to get ready for the start of his third year at WVU.
Why can’t we go to the reunion too?The dogs spent some quality time with one of Mom’s friends while we were away. She said a good time was had by all.
