Happy Father’s Day to Pop-Pop and Dad!

This Month’s News…

The pool opened later than usual this year.  The pump motor failed and had to be replaced.  As it turned out, this required replacement of both the motor and the pump, so the repair took a bit longer than expected.

Pop-Pop had to get his car inspected this month.  He said Leesburg is the worst place in Virginia to get an inspection.  He had to wait in line for 2.5 hours to get an inspection that took less than 20 minutes. 

Mom is almost done with the “back yard beautification” project.  The stump of the “Tree from Hell” whose main purpose in life was to dump copious amounts of leaves in the pool all summer has been replaced by a gravel patio with a fire pit.  And a new French Drain is now Draining the Swamp in the corner of the back yard.

Mom, Dad and Owen spent a long weekend on the OBX visiting with Ross.  While there, they stopped by this place to buy Owen a T-Shirt.

A few weeks ago, Pop-Pop bought a Doggy DNA Test Kit for Winnie.  We took a sample of Winnie’s saliva and sent the kit back to be analyzed.  And here is a summary of the test results.
