Happy Mother’s Day to Mom, Nana and Granny!

Owen had his “official” First Holy Communion on May 3rd.  Following the ceremony at the church, we all had a party with friends and relatives, including Aunt Janet from Charleroi, PA, at our house.

We’re both getting anxious for the school year to end, especially since Mom and Dad have opened the pool.

April 2008

The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year.  Let us be thankful for the fools.  But for them the rest of us could not succeed. — Mark Twain

The Pope is coming to town this month and we are going to see him at Nationals Park on April 17th.

March 2008

Happy Birthday to Ross, Pop-Pop, Gina, Gunston, and Piggy!

Ross had a “Sleep In” Birthday Party this year…although according to Mom and Dad, there wasn’t much sleep involved!  The family also celebrated Ross’s birthday at Friendly’s in Sterling, VA.

And we had another birthday celebration at Granny and Pop-Pop’s house with Gunston and Piggy.  Piggy got some new “Pink” tennis balls and Gunston got a package of rawhide chewies….which we’re sure he’ll be willing to share with Piggy (NOT)!

Congratulations to Granny and Pop-Pop, who celebrated their Wedding Anniversary on March 1st.

Pop-Pop’s alma mater GMU is going to the “Big Show” again.  They are playing Notre Dame in the first round on Thursday, the 20th of March.  GMU made it to the Final Four last time they were there, but Pop-Pop doesn’t think they will be quite as successful this year.
