This Month’s News…

The annual Reinhardt Family Reunion took place on the grounds of the Mon Valley YMCA in Carroll Township, PA. The reunion is held every year on the first Saturday of August. It was preceded on Friday evening by the Reinhardt Brounion.

Mom and Dad attended the Patriots and Petticoats Charity Ball at the Belmont Country Club. The theme of the event was the USA’s uocoming 250th Birthday and the 200th anniversary of Lafayette’s Visit to the USA in 1824/1825.

The garden produced a bumper crop of squash this summer. As usual the Zucchinis were the leaders of the pack. These Siamese Twins won “Best of Show.”

We added a second Banana Tree” to the backyard. Like big brother, it loves those long periods of above 90° temperatures we’ve endured again this year!
