Happy Birthday to Dad, Allyson, Terry, Nora, and Michael
Not much new this month except for the weather. It has been hot! The high temperature exceeded 90°F on 20 days this month. On the 25th, the temperature reached 101°F (38.3°C).
It’s been a busy summer for both Ross and Owen. Between work and summer classes at NVCC for Ross and the Exeter Swim Team and his lifeguard job for Owen, they don’t have much spare time.
Granny’s RideAs of this month Granny, Pop-Pop and Piggy have been renting the basement for two years. We had a Stairift installed for Granny to ride up and down the stairs.
Owen made it through his sophomore year at Tuscarora High school. He also passed his driving test and will have a real Virginia Driver’s License by the end of this month. As noted last month, he is working a a lifeguard at one of the local pools.
Mom, Dad, Owen, and some friends made a day trip to HersheyPark this month. A good time was had by all.
Mom and Dad also went on an overnight stay at the Hillbrook Inn in Charles Town, which is down the road a bit in “Wild and Wonderful” country.
