Happy Birthday to Brian J, Brian M, Dave and Ethan

The pool got closed this month and the Autumnal Tree has has appeared.  A sure sign that Mom’s favorite time of year is here.

Owen had his wisdom teeth pulled this month.  But he forgot to put them under his pillow, so the Tooth Fairy didn’t leave any money.

Ross and a friend from WVU made a cameo appearance to go to an AC/DC Concert at the Verizon Center.  And Mom and Dad went to a Brad Paisley Concert at Jiffy Lube Live.

We spent a few days during the first week of this month sight-seeing in the hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania.  We visited the Johnstown Flood Museum, the Flight 93 National Memorial and the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.  And we stopped at the world-famous Sarris Candy in Canonsburg, PA and a few Eat’N Parks during our travels.

On Friday evening of that week we went to Uncle Brian’s house for the “Brothers Reunion.”  On Saturday, we went to the annual “First Saturday in August Family Reunion”.

On the way home we stopped in Morgantown, WV to take a look at apartment complex Ross will be living in during his sophomore year at WVU.  It’s a really nice place.

Owen is not on the Tuscarora High School Cross Country Team this year. He had to make a choice between giving up his lifeguard job in early August and cross-country.  The coach would not give him permission to miss practice when the job and practice times had a conflict.

Ross is back in Morgantown now as the WVU fall semester started on August 17th.  And Owen’s first day of school of his junior year at THS was the 29th.  Now that he has a driver’s license he doesn’t have to ride the school bus anymore.
