Congratulations to Granny and Pop-Pop, who celebrated their Wedding Anniversary on March 1st.

A once in a lifetime event…Ross celebrated his 12th birthday on the 12th of this month.  One other rare event occurred on the third of this month,  i.e., 03/03/09.  We’ll leave the significance of this as an exercise for the reader!

We also had the biggest March snowfall in 10 years this month.  We got a couple of days off from school as a result.

We going to have a birthday celebration at Granny and Pop-Pop’s house this coming Sunday with Gunston and Piggy.  Gunston will be eight years old and Piggy will be seven. 

Pop-Pop’s alma mater GMU lost to VCU in the CAA Tournament final, so VCU gets the NCAA Tournament bid.  GMU will probably not get at-large invite to the NCAA Tournament, but probably has a good chance of getting an invitation to the NIT.
