Ross had a “Sleep In” Birthday Party this year…although according to Mom and Dad, there wasn’t much sleep involved!  The family also celebrated Ross’s birthday at Friendly’s in Sterling, VA.

And we had another birthday celebration at Granny and Pop-Pop’s house with Gunston and Piggy.  Piggy got some new “Pink” tennis balls and Gunston got a package of rawhide chewies….which we’re sure he’ll be willing to share with Piggy (NOT)!

Congratulations to Granny and Pop-Pop, who celebrated their Wedding Anniversary on March 1st.

Pop-Pop’s alma mater GMU is going to the “Big Show” again.  They are playing Notre Dame in the first round on Thursday, the 20th of March.  GMU made it to the Final Four last time they were there, but Pop-Pop doesn’t think they will be quite as successful this year.

In February’s first big event,
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so it looks like we have six more week of winter to look forward to year.  

The second big event this month was the Super Bowl.  The New York Giants suprised eveyone by defeating the previously unbeaten New England Patriots.

The third big event was Grandma Rose’s birthday.  And her and Grandpa Olaf’s move to their new place in Leesburg.

The last, but certainly not least, really, really BIG event for this month is Owen’s Eighth Birthday on the 25th.  We’ll have some pictures of the Birthday Boy in action next month.

Also, you might notice that the picture album has a slightly different look.  Pop-Pop is in the process of upgrading and consolidating his various web sites to make it easier for you to find things…and to also make them easier for him to maintain.  😉

Last month marked our 10th consecutive year online, so in keeping with tradition, a retrospective of “Ross & Owen Over the Years” is our theme for this month.  We hope you all enjoy the walk down memory lane.

Happy birthday to Granny and Uncle Bud…and to you too Elvis, wherever you are!  We’re hoping we will see some snow this month.  Its been really cold, but we’ve only had one snowfall that was about four inches so far!
