Happy Birthday Mom
Mom really likes this time of year and always decorates the house and yard with stuff that has an “Autumnal” theme, which of course includes lots of Halloween decorations.
This Month’s News
On Mom’s birthday, she was the guest of honor at an extended “Happy Hour” with neighbors and friends, some of whom she’s known since her high school days.
Mom and Dad attended the annual Gala sponsored by Mosaic Virginia® this month. Mom works at Mosaic Virginia® doing IT and Communications stuff.
Mom made an overnight trip to Morgantown to deliver copious amounts of home-made Chili to Ross.
The new deck in our backyard is finished. It’s bigger than our old deck and is made out of Trex®.
Owen got his permanent driver’s license this month. In Virginia, a provisional license valid for 180 days is issued to new drivers under the age of 18. New drivers receive a summons near the end of this 180 day period to attend a Juvenile Court Ceremony to receive their permanent license.
Pop-Pop and his friend Ron took a quick weekend trip to see their friend Pat in Morgantown, WV. They all went to Gene’s Beer Garden to watch WVU play TCU. WVU won big and a good time was had by all.
