November 2014

Happy 21st Anniversary to Mom and Dad!

Happy 37th Anniversary to Brian and Rosemary!

Happy Birthday to Toddler J!

And a Belated Happy Birthday to Baby E!

We’ve got a few leftover pictures from the last days of October in this month’s gallery. There’s a picture of Mom and Dad at the DC Dancing Stars Gala on October 25th, along with a few Halloween pictures.

On November 1st, we went to the Homecoming at JMU, of which both Mom and Dad are alumni. Pop-Pop’s two brothers and their wives made a short visit on November 7th. They were only here for two days but our recycle bins got filled up with more empty beer cans than we’ve ever seen. Mom has a rule that only bottled beer is allowed on the premises, but had to make an exception during their visit.

Dad went trout fishing again this month. It was really cold that day, but he did catch some trout and had a good time doing it.

We all continued Ross’s search for a higher education entity that meets his stringent requirements. This time we did a tour of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA.

Mom and Dad continued their Fall social whirl.  They attended the Catholic Distance University Gala this month.

And last, but certainly not least, we had a great Thanksgiving dinner this year.  We had two turkeys: one roasted and one fried in Dad’s brand new Electric Turkey Fryer.

See you next month...

Happy Birthday Mom

It could be worse...my brother got turned into pie filling! October is Mom’s favorite month.  She really likes this time of year and always decorates the house and yard with stuff that has an “Autumnal” theme, which of course includes lots of Halloween decorations.

It has been a busy month.  We both went to the Tuscarora High School Homecoming, the house got painted, we went to the Waterford Fair, Ross went on a field trip to Wallops Island, our dog Baby had eye surgery, Mom and her BFF went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival, and Mom and Dad went to the Gala held each year by the nonprofit Mom works for.
