Ross celebrated his 14th birthday this month. And Owen graduated from the Cub Scouts and is now a Boy Scout.
Aunt Janet came to visit us this month. During her stay, she went with Mom and Granny to see the Cherry Blossoms.

The big event this month is Owen’s Birthday. He will be 11 years old on February 25th.
Phil did not see his shadow, so an early Spring may be on the way. His prediction is looking good so far. Last February we had two back-to-back snowstorms that left a combined 42 inches on the ground. This February we’ve already had two days with temperatures over 70 °F (21 °C).
Our favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, were in the Super Bowl again this year. It was a good game, but they lost to the Green Bay Packers. Can’t complain too much though. The Steeler’s Super Bowl record over the years is 6 wins, 2 losses.
Pop-Pop and Granny’s neighborhood is once more undergoing some “Suburban Renewal.” This house is coming down to make place for another McMansion like the one next door to them.

This month marks the beginning of the 13th year for Ross and Owen’s Pictures of the Month. We wish all a happy and prosperous 2011 and are looking forward to another year of sharing our monthly news and pictures with you.
We took a one day trip to Ski Liberty this month. And we celebrated Granny ‘s Birthday at her house. We all sang Happy Birthday and had Ice Cream Cake.
