This Month’s News
Ross and Owen’s Monthly News begins its 27th year this month. We’ve come a long way since our first edition. Our early stuff looks quite primitive when compared to what we produce today. But, so was the Internet and that thing called the World Wide Web…or least that’s what Pop-Pop, who says he has “Been There, Done That” tells us!
Ross and Hannah’s Engagement Party was the big event of the holiday season. Friends, relatives and acquaintances gathered in the Pavilion on the grounds of the Loudoun Brewing Company to eat, drink and make merry.
The 11th of January is Cosmo’s “Gotcha Date.” That’s the day back in 2020 that Mom and Dad brought two-month old Cosmo home from the Piney Mountain Kennel in Appomattox, VA.
We’ve had a number of “Three Dog Nights” this month. On these nights Cosmo and Toby take possession of the nearest space heater. Winnie just continues doing her thing!
It’s been almost two years since we’ve had a “real” snowfall and mutiple days with temperatures at or below 32 ° F. To date this month we’ve had about six inches of snow.
