There was a new addition to the extended family this month.  Evan, our newest second cousin, was born on 21 December 2015.  He is the son of Mom’s cousin Bethany, who is the daughter of Pop-Pop’s brother.

Ross completed his first semester at WVU this month.  Owen is on the THS SWIM Team again this year. 

Santa Claus was very good to us again this year.  And we had a great Christmas dinner with fried turkey and all the fixings.

We all went to a WVU football game this month at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.  A good time was had by all.  Brad Paisley, who was born and raised in West Virginia, sang Country Roads during the pre-game festivities.

Mom and Dad went to the last of their Fall 2015 Galas this month.  Dad was glad he didn’t have to wear a tux to this one.

We had two Thanksgiving Turkeys this year, one fried and one baked.

Ross is now a Frat Boy.  He’s a member of Sigma Phi Delta (ΣΦΔ).

Happy Birthday Mom

October is Mom’s favorite month.  She really likes this time of year and always decorates the house and yard with stuff that has an “Autumnal” theme, which of course includes lots of Halloween decorations.

Pop-Pop’s brothers and wives (our great uncles/aunts) paid us a visit this month.  While they were here, we went to see the Mansion at Morven Park.  Scenes from the movie “Foxcatcher“ were shot in the mansion and other locales in Morven Park.  Scenes from this same movie were shot at CALU, which is where Pop-Pop’s brother works.

Mom and Dad went to two Galas this month. One was sponsored by the nonprofit Mom works for.  The other was the DC Dancing Stars Gala, a yearly charitable event that Dad’s company supports.
