Santa brought us lots of neat stuff again this year.  Owen’s favorite present was a Spork.

Pop-Pop, Granny and Uncle Bud were here on Christmas Day, along with Gunny and Piggy.  A good time was had by all.  Dad cooked us a roast beef for our Christmas dinner.

In other news this month, Ross made the High School Co-Ed Varsity Swim team.  He swims in the 200 meter team relay and the 500 meter individual freestyle.  And Owen is a member of the Band at his Middle School.  He plays drums and bells.

The big event at our house this month was the arrival of our new dog on November 5th.  We adopted her from the Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue.  Her name is Baby and she’s from Tennessee.  She was really sick when the rescue people took her in but thanks to them she arrived at her new home with us in tip-top shape.

The latest newsworthy happening at Granny’s house was a deer that somehow managed to get over the six foot fence and into the yard.  You can read more about that here.

This year, we had Thanksgiving Dinner with Dad’s brother and his family in Charlottesville, VA.  A good time was had by all.
