This Month’s News…

The annual Reinhardt Family Reunion was held once again on the grounds of the Mon Valley YMCA in Carroll Township, PA. The reunion is held every year on the first Saturday of August. It is preceded on the first Friday by an alcohol-related event: the Reinhardt Brounion.

We’ve had an extended period of temperatures in the high 90s and no rain. We finally got a substantial amount of rainfall. The lawn is actually turning green again!

The squirrels have been living “High Off The Hog” in our backyard this summer! They go through at least one corncob per day.

There are more backyard bunnies than usual this summer. But not to worry! Winnie is doing her best at enforcing bunny population control.

A “Banana Tree” was the newest addition to the backyard this summer. It loves this year’s long periods of 90°+ temperatures!
